Concept and Experiment

I want to express senstive and emotional rhythm of sound like playing with string instrument through this project. I imagined JOHANN SEBASTIAN BACH's SUITE FOR CELLO SOLO NO. 1.so I experimented to drop water drop on the mirror and drop white water color into the water tanke full of water to make rhythm. after then, I took a movie and used After effect and photoshop to make stepping on repeating images.

THE SHOW AT THE CORNER GELLERY , SEOUL

I had a solo show at the Corner Gellery in th SamChung-Doing a few days ago. It was good. Many people was interested in my work and the Corner gellery. I'm grateful to professor David Hall to give me a chance to show my work in the public.

This is final animation and movie for the show. The left animation is going to be played on wide lcd TV and right small movie is going to be played on naptop computer.Both of the movies will be looping.

I recorded sounds of clacking heels with iphone and mixed them through Garageband.
After then, that sound I made was used as a sound source of sound-driven animaion below. I wanted to represent about transience of beauty as time goes by. So I recorded walking sound of heel and mixed them with some echo effect and noise I made.

When you wear kill-heel, you are able to be under a lot of stress and have a joint,spinal problems including having a corn on yours foot.Your health would be worse if you wear kill-hill long time as well. Even though many girls know about that, they still put on the kill-heels because they want to heighten their height and sexier. Many of them put up with being dying if they become more beautiful.

I want to connect between Brush pattern preset I made and Chinese medicine. According to Chinese medicine, all of internal organs are on the sole.so,I indicated part of the pain as red brush spot on the foot print if you would wear kill-heel by force. They are spots on the body suitable for acupuncture also.
